One of my best friend's in the entire world is having a hard time right now. And I can't be there. It's a difficult position to be in. I've never felt quite this helpless before.
What do you do to help someone far away?

The only thing I can do with my family all around the world - pray. It sounds trite but most all of the people I love and care about are far away. The best thing I have found to do is put it in the Lord's hands. Sometimes the easiest solution is the hardest to practice. I love you! You are never out of my prayers.
Prayers are always good. If all else fails ship some Cummings Chocolate covered strawberries ;). They aren't really a solution but a nice distraction...
