A Pregnancy Complaint

Why are maternity clothes so expensive?  Unless it is a transitional piece that I can wear AFTER the baby is born I am not willing to spend $100 on a shirt, or a pair of pants, or a dress!

Where are the inexpensive maternity clothes?  The ones under $50, or even better $25?  I would like to find those and buy them because I still want to look pretty even if I do feel like a big white whale. (Just call me Ishmael.)

I was able to find a bunch for Heidi at Ross. Try there or TJ Max. Let me look around online and see what I can find for you.

Target here is pretty wonderful, too - and so is Old Navy, actually. If you can't find anything I can look here, just text me your sizes. Love you!

Burlington Coat Factory has maternity clothes. They are pretty well priced too! Just the same as other shirts and pants. Some even cheaper than $20.

I really loved the AnnTaylor Loft maternity pants and tops. They are really well made and not crazy expensive. The stupid $200.00 jeans I got from Pea in the Pod kept falling down so I wouldn't waste the cash there. Be sure to google coupons if you decide to get something from Ann Taylor Loft. I just bought some non-maternity stuff and saved $50 plus free shipping. The best part is the clothes don't fall apart after one wash like the Old Navy ones did.

Motherhood Maternity stores in the mall aren't too expensive. They are still expensive, but not as much as the specialized boutique maternity stores.
